Sat. May 8th. - 3rd Lair's 2004 O.U.T. Competition

CSR CREW on Hand: Pat Gallaher, Cory Williams, Jon Huset, Tom Rohrer, Dan Maguire all entered the comp.
CSR CREW alternate list: Vernon Neal, Matt Rodriguez, Trevor Anderson (went out with a bad ankle), if we missed some sorry.
CSR CREW members present to support comp: Too many to name them all but lets try....., Anthony Behl-C, Derek Kania, Mason Weiss,
Antoine Goodman, Derek (new ked), Robert Mom, Desirea Kania, Heather, Aria Divari & Wayzata Clan, Anthony Gill, Dustin Fothergill,
Holly Henning, Curan Henning, Taylor (jake-a-like/new ked), Tim Gallaher & E.P. Clan, wow... were prolly gonna miss some names ....

Competition Results: Pat Gallaher faced off with Cory Williams in the 1st round, most odds were in favor of Gallaher but one had to go and
Cory came out on the top of that one.  The Match between 2 other crew members Dan Maguire Vs. Tom Rohrer proves that size doesn't
matter, Ltl Dan Vs. Big Tom.... Although both are good with their technical skills Tom Rohrer came out on top during the top 16 face off.
Jon Huset advanced to the top 32 round but was ousted during that comp.
Dan Maguire & Cory Williams made it to the top 16 of 64 skaters
Tom Rohrer who was originally spotted by the CSR CREW, also rides on the 3rd team & with his Local crew "Random" is from Wayzata

Saturday, September 27th 2003, 3rd Lair Overnite Contests
Stats:
25 crew members showed up for the event, 2xtras - 7 unofficial
17-22 boarders, 3 bladers
Brad McKnight, Dan Figueroa, Aaron Wetzel, Keith "squeaky" Masanz, Tom Beggs, Nick Gracie, Kyler Drews, Steve Tagney, Josh Studer, Matt Faucher, Roger Nett, Anthony Gill, Stephen Burks, Trevin Whiley, Tom Rorher, Andy Beckrich, Butch Lehman, Steve Zerby, Jason B, Kevin S, Sam,
Contest started with our own 1 on 1 match with Keith Masanz vs. Kyler Drews, this contest wasn't part of the all niter it just had to happen, O.U.T. was played between the two for Kyler to prove himself worthy of a stat change from intermediate-expert to expert.  in the beginning Keith (squeaky) played a daddy son role and gave Kyler a beat down..... Kyler came back to tie it up and take the lead, In the End Keith Won & Kyler showed some mad skills and is by our standards an official Expert Level Skater, that means Kyler cant compete at the intermediate level anymore.

Trevin Whiley also showed some impressive skating and has moved up a skate level from beginner-intermediate to Intermediate, which means that Mr. Whiley can no longer compete at a beginner level.

Bowl contest that 4-6 of our crew competed in.
Best Trick series contest another 4-6 competed from our crew.

The Best Trick was a series of contests on different equipment, Euro-Gap, Flat Bar, Pyramid, & Picnic Table.
Tom Beggs
1st - Flat Bar
2nd - Euro-Gap
2nd - Bowl

Keith Masanz
1st - Best Trick on the box - backside nose-grind pop out the entire box
2nd - Picnic Table with a pop shuvit tail grab 50-50
3rd - Euro-Gap with a 360 flip tail grab
4th - Flat Bar with a pop shuvit tail grab lip slide

Kyler Drews & Brad McKnight also placed within the contests, Brad did an awesome job in the bowl and somehow didn't make it to the finals (judge wasn't paying too much attention although brad was singled out by a large group of bystanders).  There was also a mini room contest not sure how many of our crew competed that portion of the contest.

Amongst all of the fun of a KICK *SS ALL NITER was a game similar to our run all niters at the old 4 down in which we named Pfeffer Ball ( a  Hide N Seek dodge ball game throughout the street course ) was a game in which we called Dodge Bowl, a dodge ball game played in the bowl with plastic inflatable balls. Tons and Tons of people participated and played this game that lasted a good 30-45 min. When someone got in trouble Steve G. (a 3rd owner) called for someone to do pushups for an illegal ball throwing etc.  Matt Faucher had to do 20 pushups for illegally throwing a ball.  Our skater who got away without getting in trouble was Dan Figueroa who snuck up on and pegged local Pro-Skateboarder Chad Benson in the head all cuz figueroa got taken out with a ball and got laughed at by chad.  Steve Tagney had the best fall during the game, Tom Beggs had the best Win, Beggs ollied over a ball while dodging a bunch of other balls. Tom Beggs was also spotted with his gurl friend as he cuddled/wrapped around her.  Squeaky was playing warm up games with his gurl friend type person during the cook out at the all niter.  It was fun and a definite Kick A*S Overniter.
